Arts Centre Melbourne is both a defining Melbourne landmark and Australia’s largest and busiest performing arts centre staging more than 4,000 performances and events to more than 2.7 million people a year. Studio Worldwide has worked with ACM for the last five years across many of the different areas within the institution from rationalising the branding, to creating image campaigns for various programs.
In commemoration of the countless events that have occurred at Arts Centre Melbourne over the years, the concept of the Arts Walk was formed. Arts Centre supporters could pay homage through quotations from their favourite performers, artists and practitioners from all over the world with their words set in a stone and brass plaques designed by acclaimed artist Simone LeAmon and architect Edmund Carter.
Studio Worldwide created a publication that featured the new Arts Walk initiative by pairing beautiful photography with design and informative copy. The result was a unique printed piece that showcased the architecture of the Arts Centre with its latest addition to the Melbourne cultural community, a way to encourage and reflect as well as inspire members, sponsors and the general public.
